The Gravel and Gold trek continues to promote Dierk Bentley’s latest effort. The album, which was released in the spring of last year, received wide critical acclaim from both fans and critics. The album spawned the hit single “Gold,” which peaked at number 5 on Billboards Hot Country Songs and number 2 on the Country Airplay chart. The song also went to number 1 in Canada, adding to Dierks’ vast list of number 1 singles. In fact, since releasing his debut number 1 single, “What Was I Thinkin',” in 2003, Dierks released a total of 19 number 1 songs. Some of his most prominent hits include “Drunk on a Plane” and “Somewhere on a Beach.” Aside from number 1 hits, his incredible career has led to multiple prestigious accolades, including 14 Grammy nominations, four Academy of Country Music Awards, three CMA Awards, and two CMT Music Awards.
